Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Bed and Breakfast on Otter Street. We are an intimate country inn situated three blocks east of Banff Avenue in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The building dates from 1918 and has 10 guest rooms and a gorgeous main lounge/dining room.

Our staff is "Service Best" trained through the Alberta Tourism Educational Council. We are very fortunate to have live in manager Denise Leuschen with us. Denise has a wealth of experience throughout the hospitality industry. Denise is a friendly hostess, talented cook, massage therapist, elegant problem solver and is very knowledgeable about activities in the Bow Valley.

The house has a feeling of spaciousness and was used extensively in the '30s by CPR work crews as a boarding house. For the following fourty years it was known as Douglas House and served as tourist accomodation. The current owners renovated it in the late '80s restoring the wood and details of the original house.

We have four suites which suit small families as well as simple and elegant double rooms. There are laundry facilities on the premises and a television in the lounge. We have private off-street parking to accomodate guests with vehicles. However, once you are in Banff many activities and walks are accessible by foot from the B&B.

We would love to host your stay in our relaxed, historic mountain home.
